SINCE 1985

MAKO SHARK S.r.l.

for the production and sales of fiberglass parts and accessories for motorcycles. Over the years, the company has specialized in the production of high-tech construction composites for military, aeronautical and automotive applications. MAKO SHARK processes consist in the realization and / or design of own and third party products, using thermosetting resin prepregs with carbon, glass and aramid fibres, Kevlar, quartz, prepregs, honeycomb, nomex, roachell, epoxy resins, cyanoester, structural adhesives.

Currently, the company cooperates with about 50 employees, and covers a total area of 7000 square meters of which 2600 are covered by two adjacent production units (prepreg composites and fiberglass). The company is able to follow the product from the initial study phase, in close collaboration with the customer, up to mass production, passing through the creation of models, moulds, equipment and CNC machining, following the three-dimensional modelling and / or finite element analysis. Thanks to the internal laboratory, MS is able to test and qualify the materials.

CERTIFICATIONS

UNI EN ISO 9001:2015

In 2004 MAKO SHARK obtained the ISO 9001: 2000 certification. It is currently certified UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015.

UNI EN 9100:2018

In 2012 MAKO SHARK obtained the EN 9100: 2009 certification. It is currently UNI EN 9100: 2018 certified. It is registered with the U.R.N.I. and is authorised for the production and export of ballistic protections.

EGEA certification

Since 2021 MAKO SHARK has been operating with EGEA Certification (Ente Gestione Energia ed Ambiente SpA), which declares that the energy supplied to the company throughout the current year comes exclusively from renewable sources.

Certified ISO 45001

The certification body TÜV NORD CERT GmbH confirms that the organization uses a management system that meets the requirements of ISO 45001 : 2018, and that this compliance will be monitored during the certificate's validity period of 3 years.

The certification body TÜV NORD CERT GmbH confirms that the organization uses a management system that meets the requirements of ISO 14001 : 2015, and that this compliance will be monitored during the certificate's validity period of 3 years.
